Bringing cultural Heritage to the Digital Era; Unifying Past, Present and Future!
The 1st TPM of the ARCH Project took place in Patras, Greece, from the 10th to the 11th of July 2023. The hosting organization University of Peloponnese welcomed all partners and organized a flawless event. Representatives from the consortium organizations, namely Wisefour Innovation and Development Organisation Ltd (Cyprus), GEINNOVA (Spain), Cruz de Piedra Scl (Spain), Consorzio Materahub Industrie Culturali e Creative (Italy) were present at the meeting, while those who could not attend in person, participated online.
During this 2-day event, the partners had the opportunity to discuss, among others, the overall progress of the project, the progress of PR1 “Application for mobile devices of digital browsing platform and presentation of information of cultural points of interest”, the development of PR2 “Interactive educational game for elementary school children”, as well as the ARCH website.
On the first day, there was the official opening of the event. Mr. Athanasios Anastasiou and Marianthi Loumakou from the University of Peloponnese welcomed all partners and initiated a roundtable discussion on the project’s development and the progress that has been made so far. The main topic of discussion was PR1 and partners had the opportunity to see a first draft of the application. A fruitful discussion followed and all partners expressed their thoughts and made their suggestions for the improvement of its content. After a lunch break, it was time for the presentation of the ARCH website. Mr. Anastasiou took the stage and presented the website’s environment, as well as its structure and functionalities. All partners were highly satisfied by the quality of the website and made suggestions for further improvement. After a long day, the first day of the TPM came to an end and the partners had the opportunity to walk around the beautiful city of Patras and enjoy a wonderful dinner together.
The second day started with a discussion on the development of PR2 “Interactive educational game for elementary school children”. Partners discussed thoroughly the action plan and the time framework for the implementation of the specific PR and exchanged opinions regarding the various tasks that need to be completed in the process. Mr. Apostolis Foukas, representative of Wisefour Ltd (PR2 leader) coordinated the discussion and all partners together reached common decisions on how to proceed with the development of the educational game. A presentation of the dissemination report by Mrs. Naomi Nervo, representative of GEINNOVA, followed, and specific directions were given for the completion of the upcoming dissemination tasks as well as the accurate reporting of the partners’ dissemination activities. The second day of the meeting concluded with a presentation of PR3 by the representative of FUERM (PR3 leader) Mrs. M. Dolores Belmonte.
With the best memories in their minds, the partners renewed their appointment for the 2nd TPM that will be organized in the beautiful city of Nicosia, in Cyprus.
