Bringing Cultural Heritage to the digital era; Unifying past, present and future
“ARCH – Bringing Cultural Heritage To The Digital Era; Unifying Past, Present and Future” is a pioneering 36-month project, co-funded the European Commission, and by the Erasmus + KA2 Lifelong Learning Program, starting on the 1st of November 2021 and estimated to be completed on the 31st of October 2024.
Bringing cultural heritage to the digital era can lead to new ways towards the access, conservation and promotion of European cultural resources.
ARCH is an intercultural project that aims at the collaboration between organizations and institutions in order to improve students’ digital and cultural literacy skills by exploiting each country’s cultural heritage.
ARCH’S OBJECTIVES
ARCH will deliver three main results:
- Application for mobile devices of digital browsing platform and presentation of information of cultural points of interest
- Interactive educational game for elementary school children
- Guide to the application of modern game-based learning techniques in secondary education
The Consortium
ARCH consortium is composed of (8) eight partners from (4) four European countries with diversified experiences and expertise necessary to achieve the objectives and activities of the project: Fundacion Universidad Empresa de la Region de Murcia (Spain), Wisefour Innovation and Development Organisation Ltd (Cyprus), Gestión Estratégica e Innovación SL (Spain), University of Peloponnese (Greece), Culturepolis (Greece), Cruz de Piedra Scl (Spain), Istituto Comprensivo “Melanzio-Parini” (Italy), Consorzio Materahub Industrie Culturali e Creative (Italy).
