Erasmus+ European Project
Bringing cultural Heritage to the Digital Era; Unifying Past, Present and Future!
ARCH is an intercultural project that aims at the collaboration between organizations and institutions in order to improve students’ digital and cultural literacy skills exploiting each country’s cultural heritage.
Bringing cultural heritage to the digital era can lead to new ways towards the access, conservation and promotion of European cultural resources.
The Kick-off Meeting of the Erasmus+ project “ARCH — Bringing Cultural Heritage to the Digital Era; Unifying Past, Present and Future” successfully took place physically on November 10-11, 2022 at the ENAE Business School in Murcia, Spain. It was organized by the project coordinator, Fundacion Universidad Empresa de la Region de Murcia (FUERM), marking the official launch of the project’s activities. Partners that could not attend the Kick off meeting physically had the opportunity to participate online.
The meeting was inaugurated with a welcome video by FUERM CEO Miguel López González de León and presentation of FUERM, giving the opportunity to all project partners to present themselves and the organizations they represent.
The Kick-off Meeting allowed partners to discuss the project procedures, establishing the guidelines for a successful and effective implementation. A review and in-depth examination of all project activities and deliverables set in the project proposal were made.
ARCH will deliver three main results, namely:
- Application for mobile devices of digital browsing platform and presentation of information of cultural points of interest
- Interactive educational game for elementary school children
- Guide to the application of modern game-based learning techniques in secondary education
These project results were discussed in detail and after that all partners engaged in a conversation regarding project management, financial monitoring, dissemination, quality assurance, evaluation, and monitoring. Finally, the consortium set the general timeframe for the upcoming events of the project that include transnational project meetings and dissemination events.
