The Final meeting of the ORION Project took place in Limassol, Cyprus, from the 3rd to the 4th of April 2023. The hosting organization Wisefour Ltd welcomed all partners and organized a well-structured and effective meeting. Representatives from all partner organizations, namely NaKa (Italy), CIP FP Lumbier (Spain), Liceul Tehnologic Valeriu Braniște (Romania), Association Hexagonale (France), and KA.N.E (Greece) were present at the meeting.
During this 2-day event, the partners had the opportunity to come together and discuss the progress of the project, the development and finalization of the handbook, as well as the upcoming financial and project management tasks that need to be undertaken before the project’s closure.
First Day of the Meeting
On the first day, there was the official opening of the event. Mr. Apostolis Foukas and Mrs. Sotira Couvaras from Wisefour Ltd welcomed all partners and initiated a roundtable discussion on the project’s development and the progress that has been made during the two years of the its implementation. After that, a representative of each partner organization took the stage and made a presentation of the national good practices that are proposed on their behalf and will be included in the ORION handbook. A fruitful discussion followed and all partners expressed their thoughts and made their suggestions for improvement of the content. After a short break, all partners returned to the meeting venue and continued the meeting. The representatives of Naka (the project coordinator), Mrs. Giuliana Pampillonia and Mr. Andrea Ruggeri presented the final draft of the handbook. All partners reviewed the content and provided their feedback for the improvement of the final product. Once the meeting was over, the partners had the opportunity to spend the rest of the day together. They walked around and explored the historical center of Limassol, had lunch together and ended their day with a walk in the Limassol marina.
Second Day of the Meeting
The second day started with a discussion on project management and the upcoming managerial tasks. As this was the final meeting of the ORION project, all partners were informed about the tasks they have to undertake and the documentation they need to provide the coordinator with, so as to develop the final report. The financial management of the project was also discussed and the representatives of the coordinating organization provided specific guidelines on that matter. A presentation of the dissemination report by Mr. Apostolis Foukas, representative of Wisefour Ltd (dissemination leader of the project), followed, and specific directions were given for the completion of the dissemination report and the accurate reporting of the partners’ dissemination activities.
With the best memories in their minds, and given the flawless collaboration among the consortium during the two years of the project’s implementation, the partners started discussing about the development of a follow up project, namely ORION 2.0, which will allow the partnership to build upon the findings of ORION and further expand its content and broaden its overall impact on the target groups and on the society at a local, national and European level.

The project is being implemented in Italy through the ERASMUS+ Programme and the collaboration of NaKa, SOCIAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CIVIL NONPROFIT SOCIETY (Greece), Association Hexagonale de l’Innovation Sociale et de l’Education (France), Liceul Tehnologic “Valeriu Braniste” (Romania), Wisefour (Cyprus), CENTRO INTEGRADO POLITECNICO FP LUMBIER IKASTETXE INTEGRATU POLITEKNIKOA (Spain).
