Erasmus+ European Project
Online Orientation for Youth
ORION | 2nd LTTA IN Spain
The second LTTA (Learning, Teaching, Training Activity) of the ORION Project took place in Lumbier, a village in the province of Navarre, in the north of Spain, from the 15th to the 17th of November 2022. The hosting organization CIP FP Lumbier welcomed all partners in their premises and organized an impeccable programme that included, among others, informative visits to organizations and institutions, as well as a number of indoor and outdoor group activities.
During this 3-day event, representatives from all partner organizations had the opportunity to come together, engage in group activities, collaborate in various exercises, and communicate with their peers from various companies and institutions.
On the first day, there was the official opening of the event. Teachers and students from the hosting organization welcomed all partners in their school. They guided them through the various departments (mechanics, sports facilities, teaching classes, etc.) and even demonstrated for them the use of specific equipment. After the very interesting presentations that students had prepared about their school and the area of Navarre, all partners participated in group activities like indoor dancing. After a short coffee break, a visit to Josenea socio-labor insertion center followed. Partners had the opportunity to meet the people who work there and experience first-hand the organization and the operation of the center.
The day ended with a visit to the magnificent Royal Collegiate Church of Roncesvalles.

After that, a visit to the social insertion center Gaztelan followed. The partners were welcomed by three members of the administration and participated in a group discussion regarding the structure and the operation of the center. They also exchanged information about relevant entities, organizations, and good practices in their respective countries. The day ended with a walk on the “Way of St James” in the beautiful city of Pamplona.
During the third and last day of the LTTA in Lumbier, Mrs. Julia Galan Bermejo and Mr. Carlos Chavarren, teachers in CIP FP Lumbier and representatives of the hosting organization in the Project, made a thorough and informative presentation of their school’s good practices and the current situation in the labour market. In the group discussion that followed, all issues regarding the implementation of the ORION Project were examined and the upcoming tasks and activities were finalized. After that, all partners participated in either the kayaking or the trekking activity that had been organized by the hosts with the help of their students.
