A Month of Action: Advancing Inclusion, Sustainability, and Skills Across Europe
Erasmus+ - CERV - Horizon Europe
This past month was a powerful example of how collaboration, dialogue, and innovation can shape a better, more inclusive future. Our organization participated in two impactful consortium meetings and hosted a third in Cyprus, bringing together partners and ideas from across Europe.
📍 ACTIVEAID Second Partner Meeting – Athens, Greece | 5–6 May 2025
Earlier this month, we joined partners in Athens for the second transnational meeting of the ACTIVEAID project, hosted by our colleagues at Socialinnov. The focus of this gathering was deeply rooted in equity and inclusion.
Together, we worked on developing a robust framework for conducting interviews and focus groups with trans and intersex individuals, healthcare professionals, and employers. Our goal? To expose and understand real-life experiences of discrimination and inequality — and use these insights to advocate for systemic change in healthcare and the labor market.
We also reviewed the deliverables of Work Package 2 and took important steps forward with Work Package 3, which centers on the development of an inclusive training program. These future workshops and guidelines will help healthcare professionals and employers foster environments that affirm the rights and dignity of trans and intersex communities.
🌱 ALLIANCE EU Consortium Meeting – Ivanjica, Serbia | 21–22 May 2025
Later in May, our team travelled to the town of Ivanjica for the latest consortium meeting of the ALLIANCE EU project. Over two enriching days, partners reviewed the project’s progress and finalized our collective steps as we approach the final phase of this important initiative.
A highlight of the meeting was our visit to the renowned raspberry fields of Arilje, where we had the chance to see firsthand some of the cooling and production facilities that are part of our sustainable agricultural efforts.
We are grateful to our Serbian hosts for their warm hospitality and outstanding organization — and to every partner for their continued dedication to innovation in rural development and agri-business.
📍 Hosting the Green2Grow 2nd TPM – Nicosia, Cyprus | 28–29 May 2025
We were honored to host the second transnational project meeting of Green2Grow in Nicosia, Cyprus — an initiative focused on green transition skills for sustainable destination management in response to climate change and biodiversity loss.
The two-day agenda brought together partners from across Europe to:
- Review the project’s administrative and strategic direction.
- Present the skills gap and needs analysis, and explore how these findings impact the overall project objectives.
- Collaboratively develop the VET (Vocational Education and Training) program, including a roadmap for skills development and the structure of training materials.
Looking Ahead
These meetings reminded us of the power of partnership and shared vision. Across topics — from LGBTQI+ inclusion to sustainable agriculture to green education — the message was clear: lasting change is only possible when we bring together diverse perspectives and take action.
We thank all our partners for their commitment and energy. Let’s keep the momentum going.
