ENVISION | 3RD PLENARY MEETING IN CYPRUS
The 3rd Plenary Meeting of the ENVISION project took place in the beautiful city of Limassol in Cyprus. For two days, Thursday, October 6th and Friday, October 7th, the hosting organization WISEFOUR LTD welcomed all partners and organized a flawless event.
During this 2-day meeting, representatives from the partner organizations had the opportunity to come together and discuss the progress of the project, clarify project management and financial management issues, evaluate the results developed so far, set the upcoming tasks and activities, and finalize the dates for the upcoming events (online Hackathon and final meeting/conference).
First Day of Meeting
Throughout the first day of the meeting, all participants had the chance to talk about their respective organizations and share valuable information regarding their structure and operational processes, as well as their organizations’ needs and general objectives. Later on, WISEFOUR’s representative, Mr. Apostolis Foukas, made an overall presentation of the project’s progress and all partners engaged in a group discussion regarding the upcoming tasks and deadlines. A roundtable discussion on the organization of the Hackathon event followed, during which all partners shared their thoughts, agreed on the next steps towards the implementation of the event, and commonly set the dates for the online Hackathon. All participants decided to finalize a more detailed plan during the next day’s session. Throughout the first day of the meeting, representatives of the partner organizations who couldn’t attend physically, participated online.
In the afternoon of the same day the partners had the opportunity to walk around the historical center of Limassol and spend time together!
Second Day of Meeting
The second day started with the finalization of the action plan and the deadlines for the implementation of the 2-day online Hackathon in January 2023. The next steps were set and agreed upon by all partners. After that, Mr. Francesco Fronterotta, representative of Progeu, the leading organization for the implementation of IO5 (Design & development of a crowdfunding mechanism for cultural entrepreneurs) made a presentation of the respective intellectual output as well as suggestions on the technical implementation of the crowdfunding mechanism. A discussion among all participants followed. The second day of the meeting concluded with a Q&A session and a summary of the decisions.
With the best memories in their minds, all partners renewed their appointment for the final meeting/conference in Athens, Greece, on February 2023!
Project's implementation.
The project is being implemented in Cyprus through the ERASMUS+ Programme under the supervision of the Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (ΙΔΕΠ Διά Βίου Μάθησης) and the collaboration of Wisefour (Coordinator), PROGEU-PROGRESS IN EUROPEAN UNION – ISTITUTO PER LO SVILUPPO APS (Italy), CulturePolis (Greece), Found.ation Maker’s Place Private Company (Greece), the INFODEF – Instituto para el Fomento del Desarrollo y la Formación (Spain), and Sichting Crealisatie (Netherlands).
