“EMPOWER – Business Oriented Young Women: How to Support and Empower their Entrepreneurial Competence”
The 3rd TPM of the EMPOWER Project took place in Nicosia, Cyprus, from the 31st of May to the 1st of June 2023. . The hosting organization Wisefour Innovation and Development Organisation Ltd welcomed all partners; representatives from all partner organizations, namely Connect4, Rightchallenge – Associação (Portugal), LACONSEIL (Belgium), ASOCIACIJA AKTYVISTAI (Lithuania), Gestión Estratégica e Innovación SL (Spain), INNOVATION HIVE (Greece) were present at the meeting.
During this 2-day event, the partners had the opportunity to come together and discuss the progress of the project, the development and finalization of the training modules, the upcoming LTTA in Lithuania, as well as the upcoming financial and project management tasks that need to be completed.
On the first day, there was the official opening of the event. Mr. Apostolis Foukas and Mrs. Sotira Couvaras from Wisefour welcomed all partners and initiated a roundtable discussion on the project’s development and the progress that has been made so far. After that, a representative of each partner organization took the stage and made a presentation of the training module they have developed. The aims, objectives, content, and outcomes of each training module was explained in detail and at the end all partners expressed their thoughts and made their suggestions for further improvement of the modules. After a rather fruitful discussion, several adjustments have been decided.
2nd Day of the Event!
After a short break, the partners returned to the meeting venue and continued their discussion. The representatives of Connect4 (project’s coordinator) guided all partners in filming short videos that will be used as introductions of the training modules. All partners took turns and stood in front of the camera giving a short description of the purpose, content, and objectives of their respective module. This was a rather entertaining process that all partners enjoyed! Once the meeting was over, the partners had the opportunity to spend the rest of the day together. They had lunch and in the evening they ended their day with a walk in the famous old town.
The second day started with a discussion on the upcoming LTTA in Lithuania. The representatives of ASOCIACIJA AKTYVISTAI, the organization that will be hosting the event, presented a general plan of the event and all partners discussed practical issues, such as flights and accommodation. After that, GEINNOVA made a short presentation of the eLearning platform and everybody made their suggestions for further improvement. The meeting ended with the identification of the upcoming project managements tasks, as well as the revision of the project’s timetable and the introduction of the adjustments that were decided during the TPM.
With the best memories in their minds, the partners renewed their appointment for the LTTA in Lithuania, in October 2023.
