EMPOWERED | 1ST LTTA IN ATHENS
The first LTTA (Learning, Teaching, Training Activity) meeting of the EMPOWERED project took place in the city of Athens, in Greece, from the 27th of June to the 1st of July 2022. The hosting organization Found.ation welcomed all partners in their premises and organized a structured agenda that covered all aspects of the project’s progress and implementation, mainly focusing on the development of the EMPOWERED training programme.
During this 5-day meeting, representatives from all partner organizations and countries (Romania, Italy, Cyprus, Portugal, and Greece) had the opportunity to engage in ice breaking sessions, collaborate in various activities, and discuss the progress and the further development of the EMPOWERED project. All partners shared personal experiences and exchanged valuable insights on issues pertaining to the project’s objectives.
On the first two days of the event, the partners mainly focused on the adaptation of the FBA (Found.ation Business Academy) training programme, based on the needs of our target group, as these were defined in Result 1: ‘State of the art Report on the obstacles that women face to change their employment status’. To address the needs of our target group regarding their digital upskilling, 5 autonomous but interconnected modules will be developed and included in the EMPOWERED training programme;
- ‘Digital Transformation’,
- ‘Remote work’,
- ‘Introduction to Digital Media and Marketing’,
- ‘Introduction to Design Thinking’, and
- ‘Creativity and Innovation’.
The consortium finalized the learning objectives, the methodologies, and the content of these modules, and also defined their duration and other prerequisites.
During the next three days, the partners discussed the implementation of the rest of the training modules of the programme, which focus on the empowerment of women. Eight more modules will be developed; ‘Communication skills’, ‘Work-life balance’, ‘Motivation and personal empowerment’, ‘Problem solving’, ‘Goals setting’, ‘Time management’, ‘Self promotion’, and ‘Making effective presentations’. The EMPOWERED training programme will include in total 13 separate modules and have a duration of 26 hours! The partners worked thoroughly on the design of the learning units and the specification of the content and the learning objectives of each training module.
The 5-day meeting ended with a debrief of all the major points that had been discussed and the decisions that had been taken. Moreover, the consortium specified the future steps towards the successful implementation of the project’s deliverables. With the best memories in their minds, all partners renewed their appointment for the next Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) in Portugal.

The project is being implemented in Italy through the ERASMUS+ Programme and collaboration of organization Asociatia Culturala ARTEC (Romania), COMUNE DI CASTIGLIONE DEL LAGO (Italy), Found.ation Maker’s Place Private Company (Greece), Mindshift Talent Advisory lda (Portugal) and Wisefour Innovation and Development Organisation Ltd (Cyprus).
