An Interpretive Journey
The day finished with a special interpretive tour through the Old Town of Corfu. As part of the “European Heritage Days” the tour focused on the theme “Tracing Routes, Networks, and Connections in Cultural Heritage.” Participants followed the Cultural Route titled “Arts, Letters, and Politics in the Old Town of Corfu,” exploring historical landmarks such as the San Giacomo Theater and the Ionian Academy.
Utilizing 3D visualization technology, attendees were able to experience these cultural touchpoints in a dynamic way, linking past narratives to present connections. This hands-on exploration fostered a deeper understanding of the region’s heritage and its relevance today.
As the ARCH meeting concluded, participants will now finalise all the results and publish them online. Everything will be available on the website of the project. The final steps for the finalisation of the project, the technical and financial report were developed and organised.
