EMPOWERING WOMEN FOR BETTER EMPLOYMENT

One more innovative project is being implemented in Romania through the ERASMUS+ Programme and the collaboration of organization Asociatia Culturala ARTEC (Romania), COMUNE DI CASTIGLIONE DEL LAGO (Italy), Found.ation Maker’s Place Private Company (Greece), Mindshift Talent Advisory lda (Portugal) and Wisefour Innovation and Development Organisation Ltd (Cyprus).

The “EMPOWERED – Empowering Women for Better Employment” project aims to empower women through the development of a training course. With a duration of 2 years, this project aims to structure a training programme and a digital community for empowering women at a psychological dimension but also to equip them with the digital skills necessary to progress at a professional level.

EMPOWERED has a two-fold aim. On one hand it aims at empowering women at social, spiritual, mental, and psychological dimensions but also intents on the development of a training course for their digital upskilling.

Overall, EMPOWERED will help women reinforce their position in the labour market. To create a truly unique empowering environment for women, the partners will collaborate in order to develop a training programme for women, a handbook for AE trainers, providers, career counsellors and CSOs as well as a virtual community among women and project stakeholders.

The synergies between the activities of the “EMPOWERED” project and the priorities: “A Europe fit for the digital age” as well as “An economy that works for people” set by the EU Commission are already aligned. In addition, it is in line with initiatives already implemented in the Erasmus+ project such as “Inclusion and diversity in all fields of education, training”, “Addressing digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity” and “Common values, civic engagement and participation”.

EMPOWERED is a project carried out by a consortium of five partner across Europe. It brings together a community of several members including teachers, trainers and researchers.

Start date 01-01-2022 – End date 31-10-2023.

The project is co-funded by the European Commission, and by the Erasmus + KA2 Lifelong Learning Program.
