CENTAUR | 3rd PLENARY MEETING
The 3rd Plenary Meeting of the CENTAUR Project took place in the beautiful city of Munich in Germany. For two days, Thursday, November 3rd and Friday, November 4th, the hosting organization DUALE HOCHSCHULE BADEN-WURTTEMBERG welcomed all partners and organized a flawless event.
During this 2-day meeting, representatives from all partner organizations had the opportunity to come together and discuss the progress of the project, clarify project management and financial management issues, evaluate the results developed so far, set the upcoming tasks and activities of the project, and finalize the dates for the upcoming events (multiplier events and final meeting).
FIRST DAY OF MEETING
The meeting was inaugurated with a welcome note and opening remarks by the project coordinator Prof. Dr. Jan Ilhan Kizilhan. After that, WISEFOUR’s representative, Mr. Apostolis Foukas, made an overall presentation of the project, its intellectual outputs and their progress. All partners engaged in a group discussion regarding the upcoming tasks and activities and discussed project management and financial management issues. Later on, Dr. Pantelis Balaouras from AKADIMAIKO DIADIKTYO made a presentation of the CENTAUR eLearning platform, during which all partners shared their thoughts and suggestions, and agreed on the next actions for improvement.
Finally, all participants decided to discuss the dissemination strategy of the project and the coordination of the multiplier events and the final meeting during the next day’s session.
In the afternoon of the same day the partners had the opportunity to walk around the historical center of Munich and spend time together!
SECOND DAY OF MEETING
The second day started with a discussion on the dissemination strategy and more specifically on the upcoming multiplier events. Mrs. Björg J. Birgisdóttir, Director of Academic Affairs at LISTAHASKOLI ISLANDS, led the conversation. The partners finalized the dates for each multiplier event that will be organized in each partner country and also reviewed and decided upon organizational and practical details regarding those events.
The date for the final meeting in Greece was also set and a Q&A session followed where all participants had the chance to discuss issues that required further clarification. The second day concluded with a summary of all the issues that were discussed and the decisions that were made during the 2-day meeting.
With the best memories in their minds, all partners renewed their appointment for the final meeting in Athens, Greece, on 20-21 February 2023!
